Portland Community College’s Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center (OMIC) Training Center, in Scappoose, is a world-class facility for developing an advanced manufacturing workforce through applied research and technical training in an apprenticeship model. This structure was built in 2023. The building achieved LEED Silver certification.
