Pails<\/p>\n<p><strong>COVERAGE<\/strong><br \/>\n7.37 \u2013 14.73 m\u00b2 per litre (300 \u2013 600 ft.\u00b2\/U.S. gallon).<\/p>\n<p>Coverage is approximate and may vary depending on surface finish\/texture, concrete condition, climatic conditions, etc.\u00a0 Always apply to a test area first to determine actual coverage rate before full-scale application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHELF LIFE<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen stored indoors in original, unopened containers at temperatures between 4\u00b0 &#8211; 32\u00b0 C, optimum performance and best use is obtained within two years of date of manufacture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPECIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ASTM C309, Type 1, Class A &amp; B<\/li>\n<li>ASTM C1315, Type 1, Class A<\/li>\n<li>Complies with Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Concentration Limits for Architectural Coatings Regulations in Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>SURFACE PREPARATION <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fresh (New) Concrete \u2026 <\/strong>Apply as soon as all surface water has disappeared and the concrete surface will not be marred by walking workers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Existing (Old) Concrete \u2026 <\/strong>Concrete surface must be clean and dry with all stains, oil, grease, dust, dirt, and curing compounds removed prior to application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method \u2026 <\/strong>Use a sprayer or short-nap roller to apply a uniform film. Avoid puddling in low areas. If puddles occur, brush or roll them out. Drying times will vary depending on application rate, temperature, humidity, and project conditions. Restrict foot traffic for at least four hours. Twelve hours is preferable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleanup \u2026 <\/strong>Clean tools after use with a solvent such as xylene, toluene, or SEALTIGHT SOLVENT from W. R. MEADOWS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>FOR OUTSIDE\/EXTERIOR APPLICATION ONLY.<\/strong>\u00a0 Coating is to be applied without dilution or thinning. DECRA-SEAL (VOC) IS FLAMMABLE.\u00a0 KEEP AWAY FROM ALL OPEN FLAMES, SPARKS, IGNITION SOURCES, etc.\u00a0 Use with adequate ventilation and block all HVAC ventilation ducts which may spread product vapours &#8211; vapours are flammable and heavier than air. If product odours are objectionable, W. R. MEADOWS recommends using a water-based product, such as our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/decra-seal-wb-canada\/\">DECRA-SEAL<sub>\u2122<\/sub> W\/B<\/a> or any of the VOCOMP<sub>\u00ae<\/sub> series products. DECRA-SEAL (VOC) must be applied without diluting or thinning. Surfaces treated with DECRA-SEAL (VOC) may become slippery under certain conditions.\u00a0 To increase slip resistance, addition of <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/sure-step-canada\/\">SURE-STEP<sub>\u2122<\/sub><\/a> from W. R. MEADOWS is recommended.<\/p>\n<p>DECRA-SEAL (VOC) should not be applied in direct sunlight, or in high temperature conditions.\u00a0 These conditions cause rapid evaporation, preventing proper film formation, which may cause the dried film to peel, bubble, become hazy, and\/or turn white (blush).\u00a0\u00a0 Surface temperature of the concrete must be between 4\u00b0 &#8211; 32\u00b0 C at time of application to allow for proper film formation.<\/p>\n<p>DECRA-SEAL (VOC) should not be applied to concrete exposed to excessive moisture. Entrapped moisture in a solvent-based sealer may cause the film to peel and\/or turn white (blush).\u00a0 Improper or over-application may cause the dried DECRA-SEAL (VOC) film to appear hazy and\/or white.<\/p>\n<p>Product may be used on coloured concrete, but mottling may occur. Do not use on dense or non-porous surfaces, i.e. brick, stone, etc.\u00a0 Concrete containing calcium chloride will remain dark longer when treated with this product.
