Drums<\/p>\n<p><strong>COVERAGE<\/strong><br \/>\nCoverage is 7.37 &#8211; 14.73 m<sup>2<\/sup>\/L (300 &#8211; 600 ft.<sup>2<\/sup>\/gal.).\u00a0 Coverage is approximate and may vary depending on surface finish\/texture, concrete condition, climatic conditions, etc.\u00a0 Always apply to a test area first to determine actual coverage rate before full-scale application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHELF LIFE<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen stored indoors in original, unopened containers at temperatures between 4\u00b0 &#8211; 32\u00b0 C, optimum performance and best use is obtained within two years of date of manufacture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPECIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AASHTO M 148, Type 1, Classes A &amp; B<\/li>\n<li>ASTM C309, Type 1, Classes A &amp; B<\/li>\n<li>ASTM C1315, Type 1, Class A<\/li>\n<li>Complies with Canada VOC Concentration Limits for Architectural Coatings Regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Surface Preparation<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fresh (New) Exposed Aggregate Concrete \u2026<\/strong> Apply EXPO-GLOSS OTC to freshly placed and finished exposed aggregate concrete surfaces once the aggregate exposure process is complete and all surface moisture has disappeared.\u00a0\u00a0 Before applying EXPO-GLOSS OTC, make sure all cement paste residue has been thoroughly removed and there is no standing or puddled water on the surface.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Existing (Old) Exposed Aggregate Concrete \u2026<\/strong>The existing surface must be thoroughly clean and free of all stains, oil, grease, dust, dirt, curing compounds, etc. before applying EXPO-GLOSS OTC.\u00a0 The surface may be damp, but do not apply EXPO-GLOSS OTC to exposed aggregate concrete surfaces containing standing or puddled water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mixing \u2026 <\/strong>For optimum performance, gentle mixing or agitation is recommended.\u00a0 CAUTION: TO AVOID FOAMING, DO NOT MIX <u>EXCESSIVELY<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method \u2026<\/strong> Apply using a good quality natural bristle brush or a short nap roller.\u00a0 Spread in a thin, even coat, being careful to avoid puddling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drying \u2026<\/strong> Drying times may be extended depending on application rate, temperature, humidity, and project conditions.\u00a0 Protect the freshly coated surface from traffic, dust, condensation, and rain while drying.\u00a0 The surface will be slippery while drying and may become slippery once dry under certain conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleanup \u2026<\/strong> Clean tools with an aromatic solvent immediately after finishing application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nFOR OUTSIDE\/EXTERIOR APPLICATION ONLY.\u00a0 KEEP AWAY FROM ALL OPEN FLAMES, SPARKS, IGNITION SOURCES, etc.\u00a0 Use with adequate ventilation and block all HVAC ventilation ducts which may spread product vapours &#8211; vapours are flammable and heavier than air. If product odors are objectionable, W. R. MEADOWS recommends using a water-based product, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/decra-seal-wb-canada\/\">DECRA-SEAL<sub>\u2122<\/sub> W\/B<\/a> or any of the <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/ca\/#033923\">VOCOMP<sub>\u00ae<\/sub><\/a> series products. EXPO-GLOSS OTC must be applied without diluting or thinning. Surfaces treated with EXPO-GLOSS OTC may become slippery under certain conditions.\u00a0 To increase slip resistance, addition of <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/sure-step-canada\/\">SURE-STEP<sub>\u2122<\/sub><\/a> from W. R. MEADOWS is recommended.<\/p>\n<p>EXPO-GLOSS OTC is specifically designed for exposed aggregate concrete surfaces only.\u00a0 Do not use EXPO-GLOSS OTC on standard concrete. Do not use on polymer-modified surfaces or aggregate overlays, including topping, overlays, concrete overlays, mortars, resin\/aggregate coatings\/systems, decorative toppings, terrazzo surfaces, etc.\u00a0 Do not use on extremely porous substrates, such as brick, or on dense\/non-porous surfaces, such as stone.<\/p>\n<p>EXPO-GLOSS OTC should not be applied on hot exposed aggregate concrete surfaces in direct sunlight or during high temperature conditions.\u00a0 These conditions cause rapid evaporation of EXPO-GLOSS OTC, preventing proper film formation.
