Wet or dry abrasive sand blasting or wire brush is recommended. The \u201cwhite metal\u201d surface preparation is not required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mixing \u2026 <\/strong>Place the liquid component B into a clean container.\u00a0 Add the dry component A while mixing using a drill (400 &#8211; 600 rpm) with a mixing paddle until a smooth and lump-free brushable mix is obtained.\u00a0 Allow to sit for 3 &#8211; 5 minutes, then re-mix. Mix only the amount of material which can be applied within 45 minutes after mixing. Discard any material not used within 50 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method \u2026 <\/strong>Apply a thin coat of FIBRE-PRIME by brush or (slurry) spray. Let dry for 10 &#8211; 15 minutes then apply the second coat. At least two coats are recommended, with a total minimum dry film thickness of 1 mm (40 mils). FIBRE-PRIME is also used as an excellent bonding agent for concrete repair materials. Apply repair materials to wet FIBRE-PRIME. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrmeadows.com\/tech-form\/\">Contact W. R. MEADOWS<\/a> for advice on specific applications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Curing <\/strong>\u2026 Cure by air drying.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleanup \u2026 <\/strong>Tools must be cleaned with water immediately after use. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LIMITATIONS\/PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do not apply FIBRE-PRIME when the temperature is expected to be below 4\u00b0 C within 24 hours or when rain is imminent.\u00a0 Consult W. R. MEADOWS for applications over previously coated steel surfaces.\u00a0 The liquid component B must not freeze.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HEALTH AND SAFETY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FIBRE-PRIME is non-toxic and non-flammable. Skin might be sensitive to cement. Use of rubber gloves is recommended.\u00a0 Avoid contact with skin. If contact occurs, flush immediately with water. Seek medical advice if irritation occurs.
