Coverage is approximate and may vary depending on surface finish\/texture, concrete condition, climatic conditions, etc. Always apply to a test area first to determine actual coverage rate before full-scale application.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wrmeadows.com\/app\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Coverage Calculator<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>SHELF LIFE<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen stored indoors in original, unopened containers at temperatures between 4\u00b0 &#8211; 32\u00b0 C, optimum performance and best use is obtained within one year of date of manufacture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPECIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AASHTO M 148, Type 1, Class A &amp; B<\/li>\n<li>ASTM C309, Type 1, Class A &amp; B<\/li>\n<li>Canada VOC Concentration Limits for Architectural Coatings Regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Surface Preparation \u2026 <\/strong>Apply a single coat of PENCURE OTC as soon as all surface water has disappeared and the concrete surface will not be marred by walking workers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method \u2026 <\/strong>Use a sprayer or short-nap roller to apply a uniform film. A standard industrial-grade sprayer, such as a Chapin 19069, with a fan spray pattern nozzle that produces a flow of 1.9 LPM (0.5 GPM) under 0.276 MPa (40 psi) of pressure (or equivalent) is recommended.\u00a0 Apply over entire surface. Avoid puddling in low areas. If puddles occur, brush or roll them out. The application temperature must be between 10\u00b0 &#8211; 32.2\u00b0 C at time of application.<\/p>\n<p>For ultimate beauty and sheen on new concrete, use <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/hiac-acrylic-concrete-sealer-voc\/\">HIAC<sub>\u2122<\/sub><\/a> from W. R. MEADOWS after application of PENCURE OTC.\u00a0 Seven days after the first application of PENCURE OTC, apply HIAC using a sprayer or short-nap roller. This combination will create a superior, high-sheen, aesthetically pleasing surface.\u00a0 If future reapplication of a sealer is required, use HIAC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mixing \u2026 <\/strong>For optimum performance, gentle mixing or agitation is recommended.\u00a0 CAUTION: TO AVOID FOAMING, DO NOT MIX <u>EXCESSIVELY<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drying Time \u2026<\/strong> Product dries quickly. Drying times will vary depending on application rate, temperature, humidity, and project conditions. Restrict foot traffic for at least four hours. Twelve hours is preferable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleanup \u2026 <\/strong>Clean tools after use with a solvent such as xylene, toluene, or SEALTIGHT SOLVENT from W. R. MEADOWS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>FOR OUTSIDE\/EXTERIOR APPLICATION ONLY.<\/strong>\u00a0 PENCURE OTC IS FLAMMABLE.\u00a0 KEEP AWAY FROM ALL OPEN FLAMES, SPARKS, IGNITION SOURCES, etc.\u00a0 Use with adequate ventilation and block all HVAC ventilation ducts which may spread product vapours &#8211; vapours are flammable and heavier than air.
