R. MEADOWS immediately after final finishing operations have been completed.\u00a0 Apply LIQUI-HARD ULTRA according to below existing concrete directions a minimum of three days (preferably 28 days) after placement of concrete.<\/p>\n<p>Existing (Old) Concrete: Surface should be clean and structurally sound. Remove all residues, curing compounds, oils, sealers, contaminants, and laitance before applying LIQUI-HARD ULTRA. ULTRITE<sub>\u00ae<\/sub> DEGREASER from W. R. MEADOWS may be used for cleaning.\u00a0 Fill and repair all holes, cracks, and deteriorated areas that have been removed to sound concrete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mixing &#8230;<\/strong> For optimum performance, gentle mixing or agitation is recommended.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method<\/strong> <strong>\u2026<\/strong> Fresh Concrete: Apply undiluted LIQUI-HARD ULTRA at approximately 15.95 &#8211; 19.63 m<sup>2<\/sup>\/L (650 &#8211; 800 ft.<sup>2<\/sup>\/gal.) using a low-pressure sprayer, such as a Chapin 1949, or by spreading evenly with a soft-bristled broom.\u00a0 Do not allow material to puddle on the surface.\u00a0 No further application steps are required for fresh concrete.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/training-videos\/liqui-hard-ultra-spraying-and-microfiber-mop-application\/\">Existing (Old) Concrete<\/a>: Moisten the surface with undiluted LIQUI-HARD ULTRA by sprayer or microfiber applicator.\u00a0 When spraying, a spray nozzle that produces a flow of 1.9 LPM (0.5 GPM) per minute under 40 psi (0.276 MPA), is recommended.\u00a0 LIQUI-HARD ULTRA should be sprayed in a fine fog pattern.\u00a0 Keep surface moist with LIQUI-HARD ULTRA for 20 minutes but do not let material stand and puddle.\u00a0 If excess material is still on surface after 20 minutes, use a microfiber applicator to even out excess material.\u00a0 Pay particular attention to steel-troweled surfaces.\u00a0 After initial 20 minutes, let the surface dry.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/training-videos\/liqui-hard-ultra-spraying-and-microfiber-mop-application\/\">LIQUI-HARD ULTRA Application Video<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0 For concrete older than 28 days, please contact a W. R. MEADOWS representative at 1-800-563-3618.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Burnishing \u2026 <\/strong>LIQUI-HARD ULTRA can be burnished to a high sheen on steel trowel concrete floors.\u00a0 A high-speed burnisher (2000 &#8211; 2200 rpm) with appropriate maintenance pad is needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WARNING\u2026 <\/strong>Immediately wash off over-spray from glass, aluminum, or highly polished surfaces with water to avoid etching of surfaces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drying Time &#8230;<\/strong> 2 &#8211; 4 hours. LIQUI-HARD ULTRA dries very quickly on newly placed concrete. Drying times may be extended on existing (old) concrete due to surface conditions. Restrict foot traffic for at least four hours; 12 hours is preferable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleanup &#8230;<\/strong> Clean equipment immediately after use and while still wet with soap and water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nDO NOT DILUTE. Do not apply if the temperature of the concrete is less than 4\u02da C or above 57\u02da C. KEEP FROM FREEZING.\u00a0 If frozen, product should be thawed and agitated slightly prior to use.\u00a0 If excess material remains on surface after 20 minutes, mop or spread out to a thin, even material coverage.\u00a0 Do not allow excess material to puddle.\u00a0 Do not over apply.\u00a0 Apply two thin coats if necessary.\u00a0 Do not cover freshly treated area with plastic.\u00a0 If treated area needs to be protected from other trades, cover with a &#8220;breathable&#8221; covering, such as construction paper.\u00a0 Protect glass, aluminum, highly polished surfaces, or other surfaces that could be potentially etched.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HEALTH\u00a0AND SAFETY<\/strong><br \/>\nLIQUI-HARD ULTRA is non-combustible. Direct contact will result in irritation of the skin and eyes.
