if not possible, degrease the surface and use sandpaper or wire brush to reveal continuous, bright metal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mixing <em>\u2026<\/em><\/strong> Mix only complete units.\u00a0 Condition all components to 15.6\u00ba to 29.4\u00ba C (60\u00ba to 85\u00ba F) for 24 hours prior to use.\u00a0 [For maximum flow characteristics, condition REZI-WELD 3\/2 to 23.9\u00ba C (75\u00ba F), prior to use.]\u00a0 Pre-mix each component.\u00a0 Mechanically mix at a slow speed (600-900 rpm) using a drill and Jiffy<sub>\u00ae<\/sub> Blade or drum mixer for three minutes or until completely mixed while scraping the sides to ensure complete blending of components.\u00a0 The mixed product should be uniform grey in colour and not show streaks.\u00a0 Avoid air entrapment.\u00a0 Scrape the sides of the container to ensure complete blending of components.\u00a0 Pot life will decrease as the ambient temperature and\/or mass size increases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forming<em> \u2026<\/em><\/strong> The flowable consistency of REZI-WELD 3\/2 requires that forms be used around the base plates to contain the grout\/patch.\u00a0 Seal all forms to prevent the grout\/patch from leaking.\u00a0 To prevent adhesion of the grout to the forms, apply a suitable bond breaker.\u00a0 To facilitate placement, allow for a 50.8 mm (2&#8243;) formwork head.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patching \u2026 <\/strong>Prime prepared surface by brushing on an epoxy mix at a rate of 37.16 m\/3.8 litre (400 ft.\u00b2\/U.S. gallon).\u00a0 Place patching mix while primer is still tacky with trowel or vibrating screed.\u00a0\u00a0 Strike off, level, and finish with a finishing trowel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method <em>\u2026 <\/em><\/strong>Avoid air entrapment by pouring the prepared grout into the forms from one or two sides.\u00a0 Maintain a liquid head to ensure complete contact with the base plate. Place enough material to allow the grout to rise slightly above the underside of the base plate.\u00a0 A 25.4 mm (1&#8243;) minimum grout head is required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleanup \u2026 <\/strong>Tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately after application.\u00a0 Clean equipment away from heat, sparks, and open flame with toluene or xylene.\u00a0 Avoid breathing vapours or allowing epoxy-containing solvent to contact skin.\u00a0 Should skin contact occur, wash thoroughly with soap and water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nDo not dilute.\u00a0 Addition of solvents will prevent proper curing.
