R. MEADOWS.\u00a0 Please consult sealer manufacturer prior to using, if using a product not listed above.<\/p>\n<p>SURE-STEP provides improved abrasion resistance and is more comfortable to bare feet on treated surfaces than sand or aggregate additives.\u00a0 The product&#8217;s low density and insolubility characteristics will help reduce settling and provide optimum performance in its various applications without changing the viscosity.\u00a0 Due to its low density, SURE-STEP stays suspended in thin materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>USES<\/strong><br \/>\nSURE-STEP is perfect for use on areas where a slip-resistant surface is desired.\u00a0 This includes walkways, driveways, garage floors, patios and other surfaces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FEATURES\/BENEFITS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides improved abrasion resistance.<\/li>\n<li>Does not change viscosity.<\/li>\n<li>Allows easy cleaning of the surface.<\/li>\n<li>Provides slip-resistance properties on surface without sacrificing comfort for barefoot traffic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PACKAGING<\/strong><br \/>\n453.6 G (16 Oz.) Containers<\/p>\n<p><strong>COVERAGE<\/strong><br \/>\nRecommended for 18.9 litre (5 U.S. gallon) pails.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHELF LIFE<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen stored indoors in original, unopened containers at temperatures between 4\u00b0 &#8211; 32\u00b0 C (40\u00b0 &#8211; 90\u00b0 F), optimum performance and best use is obtained within two years of date of manufacture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Surface Preparation<\/strong> \u2026 Follow surface preparation directions of sealer being applied.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method<\/strong> \u2026 SURE-STEP is designed to be incorporated into a suitable concrete sealer.\u00a0 Minimum addition ratio is 453.6 g (16 oz.) per 18.9 L (5 U.S. gallon) pail.\u00a0 Additional SURE-STEP can be added, depending on the desired texturing effect.\u00a0 Do not exceed 226.8 g (8 oz.) per 3.79 L (1 U.S. gallon).\u00a0 Stir, while adding SURE-STEP to the container of sealer.\u00a0 The product may float at first, but once it has wet out, it will mix in easily.\u00a0 In thinner products, occasional stirring during application may be required to keep the particles well suspended within the coating.\u00a0 It is recommended that when mixing SURE-STEP into unfamiliar sealers that a small test batch be mixed, followed by a small test application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drying Time<\/strong> \u2026 Follow directions of sealer being applied.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clean Up<\/strong> \u2026 Follow directions of sealer being applied.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nSURE-STEP will increase the texturing effect of a sealer, but the addition of the slip resistant additive should <u>not<\/u> be considered non-skid, anti-skid, or non-slip.\u00a0 Under some conditions, the granules may be visible.\u00a0 Depending on the surface, this may alter colour or dull the surface.\u00a0 A small application test section is recommended.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HEALTH AND SAFETY<\/strong><br \/>\nSURE-STEP is not hazardous and does not contain silica, but should be treated as a nuisance dust while incorporating it into its intended vehicle.\u00a0 Use with adequate ventilation.\u00a0 Use appropriate, properly fitted respirator protection filter apparatus and avoid breathing dust and particles.\u00a0 If dizziness, headache or eye watering occurs, get to fresh air; leave area immediately.\u00a0 In case of eye contact, flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes.\u00a0 Seek medical attention if irritation persists.\u00a0 Do not take internally.\u00a0 If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. \u00a0Keep out of reach of children.\u00a0 Close container after each use.\u00a0 Use protective clothing to avoid contact with skin and eyes.
