Apply only after all finishing operations are complete.\u00a0 Avoid puddles and over-spraying.<\/p>\n<p>Cover concrete with wet burlap or plastic sheeting to prevent drying out.\u00a0 Secure the edges of the plastic sheeting to prevent ballooning.\u00a0 Do not use curing compounds.\u00a0 Concrete admixtures which affect the setting time should <u>not<\/u> be used without first conducting a test patch.\u00a0 Periodically check concrete to determine depth of retarded mortar, making sure concrete hardens.<\/p>\n<p>Within 12 &#8211; 24 hours of application, remove burlap or plastic sheeting one section at a time and wash the retarded surface mortar using a water broom or stiff brush.\u00a0 Do not use excessive force.\u00a0 Test a small area to determine if depth of retarded mortar is at desired level.\u00a0 If the depth is greater than desired, allow the slab to cure longer before exposing the aggregate.<\/p>\n<p>Aggregate color can be enhanced using <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/expo-gloss-otc-wet-look-exposed-aggregate-sealer-canada\/\">EXPO-GLOSS<sub>\u00ae<\/sub> OTC<\/a> from W. MEADOWS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clean Up<\/strong> \u2026 Clean tools and equipment with soap and water before material is allowed to dry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nApply only on freshly poured concrete.\u00a0 Depth of the exposed aggregate will be affected by environmental conditions, such as extreme temperatures, as well as the water pressure and scrubbing action used during removal.\u00a0 A test patch under exact job conditions is recommended.\u00a0 Do not use on vertical concrete or form applications.\u00a0 Do not use on concrete containing calcium chloride or other set accelerators.
