The product may be applied to simultaneously cure, seal, and dustproof new and old, interior and exterior, and horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces.\u00a0 VOCOMP-30 is ideal for curing, sealing, and dustproofing of driveways, sidewalks, patios, swimming pool areas, and commercial and industrial floors.<\/p>\n<p>Horizontal surfaces protected with VOCOMP-30 offer excellent wearing qualities for foot and vehicular traffic.\u00a0 If, after prolonged usage, traffic patterns appear, the surface can be washed clean and recoated to restore the original beauty.\u00a0 Good concrete and good concreting practices should be used as VOCOMP-30 is not a cure-all for improperly mixed or placed concrete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FEATURES\/BENEFITS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides a ready-to-use, non-yellowing, water-based compound that seals and protects concrete in one quick and easy application.<\/li>\n<li>Dries quickly on new concrete to provide a clear, tough, easy-to-clean sheen finish.<\/li>\n<li>Applicable for use on new, old, interior, exterior, horizontal, and vertical concrete surfaces.<\/li>\n<li>Offers improved resistance to most chemicals, petroleum, abrasives, and mortar droppings.<\/li>\n<li>Application tools can be cleaned with soap and water<\/li>\n<li>VOC compliant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PACKAGING<\/strong><br \/>\n3.78 Litre Units<br \/>\n18.9 Litre Pails<br \/>\n205 Litre Drums<\/p>\n<p><strong>COVERAGE<\/strong><br \/>\nBroomed Surface &#8211; Approximately 7.35 m\u00b2\/L (300 ft.\u00b2gal.)<br \/>\nTrowelled Surface &#8211; Approximately 12.26 m\u00b2\/L (500 ft.\u00b2\/gal.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHELF LIFE<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen stored indoors in original, unopened containers at temperatures between 4\u00b0 &#8211; 32\u00b0 C, optimum performance and best use is obtained within one year of date of manufacture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPECIFICATIONS <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conforms to ASTM C309, Type 1, Class B.<\/li>\n<li>ASTM C1315, Type 1, Class A<\/li>\n<li>AASHTO M-148, Type 1, Class B<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture &amp; Agri-Food Canada accepted<\/li>\n<li>Complies with Canada VOC Concentration Limits for Architectural Coatings Regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Surface Preparation<\/strong> \u2026 <em>Existing (Old) Concrete:<\/em> Surface preparation is extremely important.\u00a0 Concrete must always be clean and dry, with all stains, oil, grease, dust and dirt removed prior to application.\u00a0 If not, they will be amplified by the transparent sheen finish.\u00a0 CAUTION:\u00a0 If a liquid compound other than <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/vocomp-20-canada\/\">VOCOMP-20<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/vocomp-25-concrete-curing-and-sealing-compound-canada\/\">VOCOMP-25<\/a>, or VOCOMP-30 has been used, do not apply VOCOMP-30 until all traces of the compound have been completely removed and the surface is clean and dry.<\/p>\n<p><em>New Concrete:<\/em> Apply VOCOMP-30 when the surface water has disappeared and the concrete surface will not be marred by walking workmen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mixing<\/strong> \u2026 For optimum performance, gentle mixing or agitation is recommended.\u00a0 CAUTION:\u00a0 DO NOT MIX EXCESSIVELY.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method<\/strong> \u2026 A typical industrial sprayer, such as a Chapin 1949, provides an easy, economical method of application. \u00a0\u00a0VOCOMP-30 can also be applied using a lint-free roller or lambs wool applicator.\u00a0 Care should be taken to maintain a wet-edge during application to prevent roller marks in dried film.<\/p>\n<p>VOCOMP-30 should be sprayed on with a tip that produces a flow 0.5 GPM (1.9 LPM).\u00a0 Spray on in a fine, fog pattern without spurts and dribbles to form a thin, continuous film.\u00a0 AVOID PUDDLING in low areas. If puddles occur brush or roll them out. For added protection and greater sheen on new or existing (old) concrete, two (2) coats of VOCOMP-30 to be applied at right angles are recommended.
