The tape provides a simple and quick method of reinforcing horizontal and vertical joints. Repair spalled areas; fill all voids and remove all sharp protrusions.\u00a0 A clear, resin-based concrete curing compound that contains no wax, oil, pigments, or silicones may be used.\u00a0 Use a form release that will not transfer to the concrete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Surface Conditioning \u2026\u00a0<\/strong>Apply <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/mel-prime-canada\/\">MEL-PRIME<sub>\u2122<\/sub><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/mel-prime-wb-canada\/\">MEL-PRIME W\/B<\/a> from W. R. MEADOWS or approved alternate to all concrete surfaces using a roller, brush, or sprayer.\u00a0 Condition only the area to be covered that day; uncovered areas must be reconditioned the next day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Temperature \u2026<\/strong> DETAIL STRIP can be applied at temperatures of -4\u00b0 C or higher.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Footing Details \u2026<\/strong> Fold DETAIL STRIP lengthwise and then cut at fold.\u00a0 Next, coat the keyway with <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/bem-canada\/\">BEM<\/a> from W. R. MEADOWS.\u00a0 Pour the walls.\u00a0 Install DETAIL STRIP horizontally along the wall where it meets the footing, placing half the material up the wall and the other half onto the footing.\u00a0 Extend the material 114.3 mm (4.5&#8243;) beyond outside corners.\u00a0 Slit extended portion of DETAIL STRIP lengthwise.\u00a0 Place the horizontal flap out onto the footing and bend the vertical flap around the wall.\u00a0 Repeat this procedure in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inside Corners \u2026<\/strong> Place a vertical DETAIL STRIP on inside corners, extending the material 114.3 mm (4.5&#8243;) beyond each side of the corner.\u00a0 Terminate at the footing and finish the corner with <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/pointing-mastic-canada\/\">POINTING MASTIC<\/a> from W. R. MEADOWS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Outside Corners \u2026 <\/strong>Bend a DETAIL STRIP vertically over the outside corner and extend 114.3 mm (4.5&#8243;) beyond each side of the corner.\u00a0 Terminate the material at the footing.\u00a0 Finish the corner with POINTING MASTIC from W.
