R. MEADOWS is recommended to create the reservoir for the joint sealant and the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/pourthane-sl-canada\/\">POURTHANE<sub>\u00ae<\/sub> SL<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/pourthane-ns-canada\/\">POURTHANE NS<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/deck-o-seal-canada\/\">DECK-O-SEAL<sub>\u00ae<\/sub><\/a> as the sealant to protect the joint.\u00a0 Before sealing, slide SNAP-CAP over the top of the expansion joint. Place the concrete and screed to finish grade, as usual.\u00a0 When concrete is cured, insert a screwdriver through the top of SNAP-CAP, pull free and discard.\u00a0 In applications where one of the above-mentioned joint sealants is used without SNAP-CAP, W. R. MEADOWS recommends the use of KOOL-ROD or a bond-breaker tape to isolate FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT from the joint sealant material.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/sof-seal-canada\/\">SOF-SEAL<sub><sub>\u00ae<\/sub> <\/sub><\/a>from W. R.
