R. MEADOWS, or in accordance with ACI 308.\u00a0 W. R. MEADOWS recommends <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/1100-clear-canada\/\">1100<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/1220-white-pigmented-concrete-curing-compound\/\">1220-WHITE<\/a>, or one of the CS-309<sub>\u2122<\/sub> series or <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/vocomp-25-concrete-curing-sealing-compound\/\">VOCOMP<sub>\u00ae<\/sub>-25<\/a> curing and sealing compounds from W. R. MEADOWS.\u00a0 When conditions exist for rapid early water loss, the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/can.wrmeadows.com\/en-ca\/evapre-canada\/\">EVAPRE<sub>\u2122<\/sub><\/a>, an evaporation retarder from W. R. MEADOWS, is also recommended.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Venting \u2026 <\/strong>Forming also must ensure adequate venting to avoid air entrapment.\u00a0 Do not make close fitting forms, allow 12.7 mm (1\/2&#8243;) clearance and 25.4 mm (1&#8243;) for &#8220;head.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mixing<\/strong> <strong>\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0 Small quantities of CG-86 construction grout may be hand mixed in a concrete mixing pan until lump-free.\u00a0 For large quantities and continuous pours, use a mortar mixer with rubber-tipped blades. Mix for a minimum of three minutes or until uniform and lump-free. Use minimum water required to produce desired placement consistency.\u00a0 Do not mix more than can be placed in 30 minutes.\u00a0 Do not re-temper.\u00a0 Use only clean, potable water.<\/p>\n<p>Set time and strength development is dependent on temperature; therefore, follow ACI methods during hot or cold weather grouting.<\/p>\n<p>ACI 305 \u2013 &#8220;Standard on hot weather concreting&#8221;<br \/>\nACI 306 \u2013 &#8220;Standard on cold weather concreting&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cost reductions are realized when grouting large areas by adding washed, dried and graded pea gravel.\u00a0 For thicknesses of 50.8\u00a0 &#8211; 101.6 mm (2&#8243; &#8211; 4&#8243;), add up to 25% 9.5 mm (3\/8&#8243;) pea gravel.\u00a0 For medium-flow mixes, 101.6 mm (4&#8243;) and over, add up to 50% 9.5 mm (3\/8&#8243;) pea gravel, plastic mix.\u00a0 Addition of pea gravel is based on percentage of the weight of the dry grout.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do <u>not<\/u> use as a repair mortar.\u00a0 (Please contact W. R.
